A fun and relaxing experience at the Deep Sky Eye Observatory
Have you seen the Milky Way? The Rings of Saturn? The spiral arms of distant galaxies? Come and discover the night sky the way it was meant to be seen. Located only 24 minutes from Yarmouth NS in North America's first certified Starlight Tourist Destination
Explore the night sky with Tim Doucette from his observatory in Quinan, NS (only 25 minutes from Yarmouth) as he takes you on a journey through the Cosmos.
In the observatory's presentation room you'll learn about important astronomy topics; light pollution, size of the universe and what's in the night sky.
Outdoors the stars await as you relax in a comfortable anti-gravity chair and warm blanket. Enjoy a tour of the night sky while listening to sounds of nature.
Using the observatory telescope you'll see some of the most beautiful gems of the night sky close up.
Currently offering two programs at various times of the month. "Exploring Space" and "Discover the Moon".
Duration: 2-3 hours
Prices: $35/adult, $20 youth, children 9 under are free.

You will witness the history of the stars, mythology, and astronomy under the dark skies over Acadie. When you go for a walk at night, you will see things in a different light.
Meet Paul in front of the St. Mary’s Church - 1713 Highway 1 in Church Point.
Walks go ahead under sunny and cloudy conditions. Cancelled if it is raining.
